I want to thank all who attended The Griffith Family Foundation’s A Movie and a Mission! It was such a wonderful night to share with friends, family and our local pancreatic heroes!
The night will be cherished in our hearts for many years! I would like to take the opportunity to thank our committee: Nan Covert, Andrea Cohen, Tracy Chaney, Jean Dinges, Barb Fiore, Erica Sheetz, Cindy Storm, Kathy Roberts, Lisa Georgiana, Cindy Newman, Jess Fulchiero, Nancy Fulchiero, Kim Gavin, Kim Van Buren, Jane Crockett, Becky Krol, Chrissy Wagner, Alison Davies, Cass Davies, Linda Burns, Chris McIntyre, Sue Khalouf, Deanne Gildea, and Andrea Collins. It is only through the support of so many that we were able to put this event together in just two months! Ladies, I thank you all and look forward to the comedic film festival next year!
The event was a great success and we were able to raise $10,000 for Dr. Moser’s research! Dr. Moser began at Harvard on this month and hopes to see a better world for pancreatic patients. His foundation that our fundraising dollars will now go to is THE Alliance of Families Fighting Pancreatic Cancer (AFFPC). We will continue to support his research efforts and hope all of you keep supporting us in our fight!
