Dr. A James Moser and Dr. Mark Callery recently performed a robot-assisted pancreatectomy at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The state-of-the-art surgery was the first in the Boston area.
The video below shows Dr. Moser speaking briefly about the procedure and shows the procedure being performed (If you’re a little squeamish, you may not want to watch).

Dr. Moser is my hero. Because of his knowledge and his hands being guided by the Lord is the only way to describe it. I was told I had pancretic cancer last September. I went through chemo and radiation. After having the Whipple procedure last January 5th, I am compeletely cancer free. His whole knowledge of this disease and how it works and his clinical trials are what brought him to the place he is now. God Bless and guide him! This world needs more doctors like him!
Linda we’re absolutely thrilled to hear that you’re cancer free! Praise God! And we couldn’t agree with you more — the world definitely needs more doctors like Dr. Moser.
Thanks so much for your comment!
Dr. Moser is my hero also,he performed a 5 hour operation on me to remove a large cyst from my pancreatis at UPMC in March of 2005.I have had not one single problem since. If not for that operation I most likely would not be here to write this, I am sorry I couldn’t be at your program this evening but, my check will be in the mail tomorrow.Thank God for Dr. Moser
