Sideline Cancer at Penn State is excited to announce that our annual 5K will be taking place VIRTUALLY.
Run or walk any time or anywhere you please during the month of November, which is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.
Your $25 registration fee includes a t-shirt that we will ship to you.
If you wish to submit your time, please email a photo or screenshot of your race time to [email protected].
Medals will be mailed to the top three male and female finishers.
A recent American Cancer Society Cancer report estimates that more than 47,000 Americans will be diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in 2020. That number itself is grim, but even more heartbreaking is that this means the number of new diagnoses is continuing to rise.
Our club was founded to enable college students, professors, and staff to join in the effort to fund, cure, and permanently sideline pancreatic cancer.
Proceeds raised from this event will go to support the Griffith Family Foundation’s efforts to advance pancreatic cancer advocacy and research.
