Sideline Cancer Club Teams play for something “Bigger Than The Game” making us the most unique organization in all of youth sports.  Our  teams embody the  “I Can Attitude & Believe Always Spirit” championed by our President, Cathy Griffith.  Whether you are sinking the game winning basket or clinching the game-winning hit, we can ALL Sideline Cancer through the sports we cherish.

What sets Sideline Cancer apart is our athletes’ remarkable ability to connect their passion for sports while inspiring those battling cancer.  Each of us have been touched by this relentless disease, and our platform allows these athletes to play for someone they love.  Take a look below to see the cancer patients our 12u softball team played for during the Summer of 2023.  With a remarkable record of 30-8-1, we prove that greatness extends beyond the field.  Join us in making a difference on and off the court!

Sideline Cancer Boys AAU

Discover the excitement of joining one of the fastest-growing AAU Programs in the entire state of Pennsylvania – the Sideline Cancer AAU Boys Program. From its humble beginnings with just one team in 2021, we’ve soared to hosting 20 AAU Boys teams last year. Thanks to our recent merger with the Penn Playermakers from the dynamic “610” area, our program is set to expand even further in 2024.

At Sideline Cancer, inclusivity is key. Our boys program boasts at least two teams at every grade level, from 5th to 11th, and some grades even feature over four teams, ensuring there’s a spot for everyone. Get ready to hit the courts as we gear up to compete on the prestigious Made Hoops Circuit, a Nike Affiliate, this upcoming AAU Season. With top teams representing us at each grade level, there’s never been a better time to be part of the Sideline Cancer family. Join us and be part of the winning team!

Sideline Cancer AAU Girls Basketball

The Sideline Cancer AAU Girls Basketball Program is an elite organization in Central, Pennsylvania stemming from Johnstown to Reading Pennsylvania and ALL areas in between.  Our Sideline Cancer AAU Girls play in a grassroots circuit ran by Select Events called the Select 40.  Our 16u team will play in the elite circuit ran by Select Events called the Power 24 during this upcoming AAU Season.  The girls program is also affiliated with Puma Hoops and will participate in the NXT Tour Circuit which is sponsored by the company.  The middle school and elementary girls will participate in the 1st Circuit for girls this age during the upcoming Spring and Summer AAU Season called the NEXXT Tour ran by Ohio Basketball.  Our girls program also became the highest, nationally ranked AAU Program in Central, PA history, earning a status of 114th in the country.  This program is rapidly becoming one of the best in the country and continues to grow year over year.
